Founder, Richard Grenon has been into cars all his life. At the age of 14, Richard bought his first car and turning it into a street rod that he finished and drove when he got his license. During the earlier years he built and modified many cars. In 1981 he opened his own shop in Montreal. Au Temps Tic Auto has always surpassed itself on quality by paying attention to every little detail.
Following in his father’s footsteps, Nicolas has been learning the craft since he was very young. Now working under his father’s wing full time, he has a keen business acumen, continuing to learn and plans on expanding the business in the future.
In 1979 Gatti Luciano at the age of 24 founded Carrozzeria Gatti with an initial staff of 6 collaborators. In 1981 he began his specialization in the restoration of vintage cars, gaining experience on prestigious car brands such as ITALIAN CARS PRE AND POST WAR, a far-sighted choice given the results achieved today by the Carrozzeria which boasts a particularly high level of customers. Now, Giovanni Gatti takes the footsteps of his father Luciano and becomes an integral part of the staff of the Carrozzeria carefully following the techniques of his father but also providing a contribution in terms of new ideas for improvement to the company.
In February 2019 Carrozzeria Gatti reaches another milestone: 40 years of activity characterized by numerous satisfactions in the restoration of dream cars in many cases of extraordinary rarity, several cars have participated in prestigious competitions such as 1000 miles, Villa D’Este, Pebble Beach.
